Okay so maybe she’s not buying a massive mansion in Beverly Hills, but Taylor Swift is parting with a pretty hefty sum of cash. And this one’s entirely altruistic. Swift recently donated $50,000 on a GoFundMe pageraising money for the 13-month-old nephew of one of her dancers who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Swift made the donation publicly on the page, writing: “Baby Ayden, I’m lucky enough to perform with your uncle Toshi on tour. All of us are praying for you and your mama and sending so much love your way. Love, Taylor.”
Cancer has personally touched Taylor Swift, who revealed in April that her mother had been diagnosed with the disease. Swift also makes frequent visits to various hospitals while on tour to entertain children who are battling cancer and other diseases. She recently met with a seven-year-old fan named Jordan Overcast backstage before her concert in Kansas City; she has been fighting a brain tumor since before her second birthday.
